An Army of Lovers was designed and printed by Jaime C. Knight based on his original work of the same name. The text originates from the Queer Nation Manifesto of 1990. It was initially printed as a collaboration for Lena Wolff’s residency The Song is Love at San Francisco’s de Young Museum in 2017. It was printed a second time at the exhibition Radical Matriarchs at Johansson Projects in Oakland in 2018. The third and final edition was printed as part of the exhibition, Our Eyes Are On Fire, curated by Lena at Sarah Shepard Gallery in Marin, California in 2020.

Each print is signed and numbered, and sold unframed. Free shipping is included with the purchase, fully insured via FedEx (in the United States only), or pick-up is offered if you live in the Bay Area. (If you’re interested in purchasing the print framed, as pictured, contact Lena for info)

A portion of the proceeds of each print sold in 2025 will be donated to the Transgender Law Center.
